There are several types of administrators with responsibilities for managing ND MMIS users:
Organization Administrators for State internal users can manage and maintain user accounts only in their organization. State Organization Administrators use the Manage Users function to do the following: search, view or edit, and unlock user accounts that have been locked only within North Dakota MMIS Web Portal.
Organization Administrators for providers can also manage and maintain user accounts only in their organization. Organization Administrators can search, add, view or edit, reset passwords, activate users, de-activate users, and unlock user accounts. Organization Administrators can also manage their AVR PIN using Manage Users.
Enterprise Administrators are able to manage and maintain any user in any organization. Enterprise Administrators assign privileges to roles, provide support for security reports, monitor intrusions and recoveries, initiate vulnerability testing and correction, and perform Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) cleanup operations.
Security Administrators manage and maintain organizations, roles, and privilege assignments using IBM's Tivoli Authorization Manager/Tivoli Identity Manager (TIM/TAM) applications and views.
Some organizational users can access security reports, which are stored in Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
