You can reset a user's password if the account is active. As an Organization or Enterprise administrator, you create a temporary password and inform the user of the new one-time password. The user is required to change it the next time he or she logs in.
However, if the user is a State employee internal user, you cannot reset the password. Passwords are reset using Active Directory.
Passwords:
An Organization Administrator can call Customer Service to reset his or her password. The Organization Administrator (or any user) can also call the Enterprise Administrator to have his or her password reset. When the Organization Administrator logs into North Dakota MMIS Web Portal with the one-time password, he or she is forced to change the password.
Note: If the Organization Administrator’s account is inactive, Customer Service cannot reset the password. They will contact an Enterprise Administrator to reset the password, following standard procedures.
Optionally, you can:
To reset a user's password
On the My Account menu, click Manage Users.
On the View/Edit User view of the Manage Users page, click Reset Password.
