Manage Users (Reset Password) Page

As an Organization or Enterprise Administrator, you use the Reset Password view of the Manage Users page to reset a user's password.

 

Reset Password Fields

Field Description
User Status

Indicates whether the person's user ID is active, inactive, unlocked, or locked.

Last Name

The legal last name of the person.

Format: 35 Characters

Examples: Stone, Smith, Jones, Apple

First Name

The legal first name of the person.

Example: Ida

MI

The middle initial of the person's name.

Format: 1 character

Examples: A, B, C, I, O, E

Email

The e-mail address of the user.

Example: ijones@myemail.com

Phone

The contact phone number of the user.

Example: 770-555-1212

Organizational Role

The task that person performs within the organization.

Example: Claims Specialist

New Password

The new one-time password.

  • Must be a 8 to 14 characters long
  • Must contain at least one character from three of four categories:
    • Uppercase letters
    • Lowercase letters
    • Numbers
    • Special characters, such as: !, $, #, %, @, or &
  • Cannot contain any part of the user's full name, such as first or last name
  • Cannot contain any 4 characters that match the user ID
  • Must different from the last 24 passwords used
Confirm New Password Confirm the new one-time password.
What is the reason for this action?

The reason why the user's password needs to be reset.

Example: User forgot password - password reset.
