Manage Users (Add User) Page

If you are Enterprise Administrator, you use the Add User view of the Manage Users page to add new users to a particular organization. You select the organization from the search results displayed in the Add User to Organization panel.

Note: However, North Dakota State employees are added when their Active Directory user account is added to the Active Directory MMIS group which causes the user be created in North Dakota MMIS Web Portal through a synchronization process. You cannot use this page to add these types of users.

If you are the Organization Administrator, you use this page to add new users to your organization.

You can open or close certain panels. Click (the plus sign) beside a panel to open the panel. Click (the minus sign) to close the panel.

 

Add Users Fields

Field Name Description
User ID

The logon identifier assigned to the user to gain access to the application.

This field cannot be changed after it is saved the first time.

Prefix

Title that comes before a person's legal name indicating how he or she are to be addressed personally or within a letter.

Examples: Mr., Mrs. Ms, Dr.

Last Name

The legal last name of the person.

Format: 35 Characters

Examples: Stone, Smith, Jones, Apple

First Name

The legal first name of the person.

Example: Ida

MI

The middle initial of the person's name.

Format: 1 character

Examples: A, B, C, I, O, E

Suffix

Additional information about the user that follows the person's legal name providing their social, academic or professional title.

Examples: Sr., Jr., III, PhD., Esq.

Phone / Ext

The contact phone number and extension of the person.

Phone Format: NNN-NNN-NNNN or up to 10 numeric

Extension Format: NNNN

Example: 603-555-1212 1027

Email

The e-mail address of the user.

Example: ijones@myemail.com

Password The password that is being assigned to the user ID.
Confirm Password Retype the password to confirm it is the one to assign to the user ID.
Designated as Supervisor Indicates that this user is a supervisor.

The answer to each of the following questions is displayed in the Selected list.

  • To move an item from the Available list to the Selected list, select the item, and then click (the right arrow).
  • To move an item from the Selected list to the Available list, select the item, and then click (the left arrow).
  • To select or clear multiple items, press CTRL and click the items.
What Line of Business does the user belong?

The line of business (the high-level payer or funding source) to which the user belongs. This field may not be displayed.

Example: Medicaid

What Work Units does this user belong? The work units in the organization to which the person belongs. This field may not be displayed.
What roles will this user have in the organization?

The roles for which the user is responsible.

Examples: Customer Care Representative, Claim Specialist

 

Contact Management Fields

Field Name Description
These fields may not be available.
Supervisor Review Required Indicates that the supervisor needs to review actions taken in ND MMIS by this user.
Case Filter The case record type to associate with the user.
CR Filter The correspondence record type to associate with the user.
