Manage Users (Name Tab) Page

The Enterprise Administrator uses the Name tab of the Manage User page to search for a user by name. The search can be narrowed by completing any of the optional criteria fields. The Enterprise Administrator can also search for an organization to which to add a user.

The Name tab of the Manage Users page contains the following panels:

 

Name Fields

Field Name Description
Last Name

The legal last name of the person.

Format: 35 Characters

Examples: Stone, Smith, Jones, Apple

First Name

The legal first name of the person.

Example: Ida

MI

The middle initial of the person's name.

Format: 1 character

Examples: A, B, C, I, O, E

Email

The e-mail address of the user.

Example: ijones@myemail.com

Designated as a Supervisor. Limits search to users who are supervisors.
User Status

The status of the user used to refine your search. One or more combinations can be selected together.

Example: Selecting a status of active with the status of has not logged on in 60 days refines the search. The results provide a list of all users with the same last name who are active and have not logged in for 60 days.

 

Search Results Fields 

Field Name Description

If more than one match is found, this table is displayed. To view a match, click the appropriate row. None of these fields can be edited.

Organization Name

The name of the organization to which the user is assigned, based upon the person's assigned user type. Organization name might not be unique.

Examples: Users from the provider community are assigned to the organization called Provider. You might also have an organization of trading partners or Medical Services employees.

Organization ID

The globally unique and case sensitive identifier of the organization to which the user is assigned, based upon the person's assigned user type.

Format: alphanumeric

User ID

The logon identifier assigned to the user to gain access to the application.

Last Name

The legal last name of the person.

Format: 35 Characters

Examples: Stone, Smith, Jones, Apple

First Name

The legal first name of the person.

Example: Ida

MI

The middle initial of the person's name.

Format: 1 character

Examples: A, B, C, I, O, E

Status

The status indicates whether the user ID is active, inactive, and locked. The icon following the status indicates whether the account has not had activity for 30, 60 or 90 days.

Format: Blue icon represents 30 days of inactivity. Yellow icon represents 60 days of inactivity. Red icon represents 90 days of inactivity.

 

Add User to Organization Fields

Field Name Description
These fields can only be used by an Enterprise Administrator. To search for an organization, complete the fields and click Search. If multiple matches are found, to select the organization to which to add the user, in the Organization table, click the appropriate row.
Organization Name

The name of the organization to which the user is assigned, based upon the person's assigned user type. Organization name might not be unique.

Examples: Users from the provider community are assigned to the organization called Provider. You might also have an organization of trading partners or Medical Services employees.

Organization Description The short description of the organization.
Organization ID

The globally unique and case sensitive identifier of the organization to which the user is assigned, based upon the person's assigned user type.

Format: alphanumeric
