How to Delete Text

You can use the Text page to delete text for location codes, Explanation of Medical Benefits (EOMB) codes, Explanation of Benefits (EOB), Remittance Advice Explanation of Benefits (RA EOB) codes, provider notices, remark codes, adjustment reason codes, service authorization reason codes, or National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) reject codes. Instead of deleting text, you can terminate remark or adjustment reason text or void provider notice text.

Note: You cannot delete Text records that are currently referenced by other records within the ND MMIS. For example, you cannot delete location code text for a location code that is referenced in claims exceptions.

Optionally, you can:

• Add text.

• View or add notes. To view or add notes for this record, on the action bar, click Notes.

• View audit details. To retrieve audit information, close any open panels and, on the action bar, click Audit Log. To view the details for a particular record, click Audit.

• Cancel your entries. To close the page or panel without saving your changes, click Cancel.

To delete a text message

1. On the Rules Mgmt menu, click Text Management.
2. Search for the text you want to delete.
3. On the Text page, on the Text action bar, click Delete.
