What Is Text Management?

The Text Management function of Rules Management allows you to manage and maintain the text information needed to support claim exception creation, routing, and the printing of documentation for providers and members. This text is used in correspondence with providers and members and to provide detailed information used to correct suspended claims and service authorizations.

Text Management is a flexible means to maintain text that is used for providers and members on Explanation of Benefits (EOB), Explanation of Medical Benefits (EOMB) and Remittance Advice (RA) statements.

Using Text Management you can manage text messages for:

There are no dates associated with Location Text, EOMB Text, SA Reason, RA EOB Text, and NCPDP Reject Codes. Provider Notice Text has a beginning date and an ending date. Remark and Adjustment Reason Text have a termination date.

All text data is approved by the Department of Human Services (DHS). You have the capability to enter the information required for new text or make updates to existing text.
