How to Void System Parameter Detail

You can void details on a system parameter without deleting the entire record if the beginning date of the parameter details is current or in the past. If the beginning date is in the future, it can be deleted. After a system parameter detail has been voided, it cannot be changed or deleted.

Optionally, you can:

• Delete an entire system parameter.
• Delete an effective-dated system parameter detail.
• View or add notes. To view or add notes for this record, on the action bar, click Notes.
• View audit details. To retrieve audit information, close any open panels and, on the action bar, click Audit Log. To view the details for a particular record, click Audit.

• Reset your entries. To clear the fields and remain on the page or panel, click Reset.

• Cancel your entries. To close the page or panel without saving your changes, click Cancel.

To void system parameter detail

1. On the Rules Mgmt menu, click System Parameter.
2. Search for the system parameter record containing the details you want to delete.
3. To void detail on a system parameter, on the System Parameter page, in the System Parameter table, click the appropriate detail row.
4. In the System Parameter panel, in the Void field, click Yes.
5. To store the information in the table, on the System Parameter panel action bar, click Save.
6. On the System Parameter panel action bar, click Save.
