How to Search for a System Parameter

You can search for system parameters that exist in the system. These system parameters are used in processing for various functional areas (Member, Provider, Service Authorization, Third Party Liability, etc.)

A system parameter can be found based on the parameter number, its name, or the name of a functional area responsible for maintaining the value of the parameter.

To search for a system parameter

1. On the Rules Mgmt menu, click System Parameter.
2. On the Search System Parameter page, complete the fields.

3. Click Search.

   If more than one match is found, a results table with matches is displayed. Click the up or down arrow next to a column heading to sort the table in ascending or descending sequence according to that column. Click a row to display that match.

   If one match is found, it is displayed instead of the results table.

   If no matches are found, a message is displayed with the option to click Reset to clear all fields and enter new search information. If too many matches are found, click Reset and search using additional options.
