You use this page to search for system parameters.
The Search System Parameters page contains the following panels:
| Field | Description |

To add a system parameter, click Add System Parameter. |

| Parameter Number |
The 4 digit number used to identify the system parameter. Can be used with the Starts With option. |
| Functional Area | The functional area in which this system parameter is used. |
| Description |
The description associated with the system parameter. Can be used with the Starts With or Contains option. |
| Starts With |
The Starts With option tells the system to retrieve all records that start with the search criteria entered. Examples: If 41 is entered for the number, the system selects all parameters which start with 41 to be displayed. If the word Maximum is entered for the description, the system selects all system parameter descriptions which start with Maximum to be displayed. |
| Contains |
The Contains option tells the system to retrieve all records that include the associated search field somewhere in the text. At least 2 characters must be entered to use the Contains option. Example: If patient is entered for the description, then the system selects all descriptions containing the word patient. |
