How to Delete System Parameter Detail

You use the System Parameter page to delete existing effective-dated details for a system parameter. In order to delete details, its beginning date has to be in the future. If the beginning date is in the past or current, you can void it.

Optionally, you can:

• Delete an entire system parameter.
• View or add notes. To view or add notes for this record, on the action bar, click Notes.
• View audit details. To retrieve audit information, close any open panels and, on the action bar, click Audit Log. To view the details for a particular record, click Audit.

• Reset your entries. To clear the fields and remain on the page or panel, click Reset.

• Cancel your entries. To close the page or panel without saving your changes, click Cancel.

To delete system parameter detail

1. On the Rules Mgmt menu, click System Parameter.
2. Search for the system parameter record containing the details you want to delete.
3. To delete detail on a system parameter, on the System Parameter page, in the System Parameter table, click the appropriate future-dated detail row.
4. To remove the information from the table, on the System Parameter panel action bar, click Delete.
5. On the System Parameter action bar, click Save.
