How to Add or Edit a Withholding/Lien/Levy Receivable

You can add a withholding, lien, or levy receivable beginning on the Accounts Receivable page. You can edit a withholding receivable provided the balance of the receivable is greater than zero. However, the Original A/R Amount, Approval, Biennium Start, Category of Service, and Fund Code cannot be updated if payments have been applied to the receivable.

Optionally, you can:

To edit a Withholding/Lien/Levy

  1. On the Financial menu, click Accounts Receivable.

  2. If the Withholding/Lien/Levy page is displayed, continue to the next step.

    Otherwise, to display the Withholding/Lien/Levy page, Closeddo the following:

  3. On the Withholding/Lien/Levy page, in the Withholding/Lien/Levy panel, complete the fields.
  4. In the Account panel, complete the fields.
  5. In the Recoupment panel, complete the fields.

    Note: To set the recoupment fields to the defaults established in Financial Accounting Entity, click Use Default Recoupment.

  6. ClosedTo add or edit a payment schedule when the Recoupment Type is Scheduled Payments, in the Payment Schedule panel, complete the fields.

    1. Do one of the following:

      • To add, click Add Payment Schedule.
      • To edit, in the table, click the appropriate row.
    2. In the Payment Schedule panel, complete the fields.
    3. To store the information in the table, on the Payment Schedule action bar, click Save.
  7. Optionally, in the History panel, review the information.
  8. On the Withholding/Lien/Levy action bar, click Save.
