About Maintaining Keywords

Keywords are predefined input values that are displayed on the Letter Generation Request page. Each keyword either represents a field printed on a letter or a value necessary to obtain other values from the database that will be printed on a letter. Keywords are specific to templates. Some examples of keywords are Provider ID, Member ID, Hearing Date, and Address.

Keywords are classified as follows:

You use the Maintain Keywords page to add new keywords, make changes to existing keywords, and link keywords to templates. You can also associate keywords with templates on the Maintain Templates page.

For example, a user can link a keyword called Provider ID to a template called PGM-CRM-L001. The field labeled Provider ID is then displayed in the Other Details panel on the Letter Generation Request page.
