Maintain Keywords Page

You use the Maintain Keywords page to add or edit keywords used to obtain input when generating a letter.

 

Letter Keywords Fields

Field Description

To add a keyword, click Add Keyword. To edit a keyword, in the Letter Keywords table, click the appropriate row.

Keyword

The keyword ID used as an input in the Other Details panel of the Letter Generation Request page. This field cannot be changed after it is saved the first time.

Examples: Hearing Date, Hearing Location, Provider ID

Keyword Type

Classification of a keyword.

Examples: Input, Processing

Tip: Input Keywords are printed on the letter. Processing keywords are used to retrieve data from ND MMIS.

Label

Describes the information a user needs to enter based on the keyword. A text box with the label name is displayed on the Letter Generation Request page.

Note: Required if Keyword Type is Input.

Example:

Keyword: Denial_Rsn

Label: Denial Reason or Please enter the denial reason.

Short Description A short explanation of the keyword.
Long Description A long explanation of the keyword.
Length of Keyword Field The number of characters that can be entered in the input field for this keyword.

Available / Associated Templates Fields

  • To move an item from the Available list to the Selected list, select the item, and then click (the right arrow).
  • To move an item from the Selected list to the Available list, select the item, and then click (the left arrow).
  • To select or clear multiple items, press CTRL and click the items.
Available Templates A list of available letter templates to select from in order to associate this keyword.
Associated Templates

Templates that use this keyword to obtain input when generating a letter.

Tip: A keyword can be linked to multiple templates.
