You use the Entity Search page to search for enrolled or un-enrolled entities in ND MMIS. You can also access the Entity Search page from other functions when you choose to search for an entity, including the Add Member Appeal and Add Provider Appeal menu options.
Optionally you can add an entity. This option may not be available, depending on how you accessed this page.
To search for an entity
If the Entity Search page is displayed because you have chosen to search for an entity as part of another task, continue to the next step.
Otherwise, on the Ct Mgmt menu, click Entity.
On the Entity Search page, select the Entity Type.
Note: If you access entity search from a page where you have already selected an entity type, such as adding an appeal, the Entity Type is automatically selected and the appropriate search page is displayed. If you had already entered an entity ID type and entity ID, those are also displayed.
Complete the appropriate search filters, depending on the information you have available for your search:
Click Search.
If more than one match is found, a results table with matches is displayed. Click the up or down arrow next to a column heading to sort the table in ascending or descending sequence according to that column. Click a row to display that match.
If one match is found, it is displayed instead of the results table.
If no matches are found, a message is displayed with the option to click Reset to clear all fields and enter new search information. If too many matches are found, click Reset and search using additional options.
The page that is displayed as a result of your search and selection is based on where you were when you began your search for an entity:
Entity Search (Un-enrolled Provider) Page
Entity Search (Trading Partner) Page
Entity Search (TPL Carrier) Page
Entity Search (TPL Policyholder) Page
