You use the Map Definition function to add and edit maps used by various functions in ND MMIS.
Before you can add a map definition, the map types and the valid data elements for each map type must be set up as system-wide system lists in ND MMIS.
After you add a map, it cannot be deleted. However, you can choose to void or close the individual effective-dated map definition conditions.
If you edit a map that is used by more than one line of business, benefit plan, etc., a warning message notifies you that the changes may impact other areas.
On some panels on this page, you can click Add to display additional fields for adding values. Already existing values (if any) are listed in a table. Click a column heading to sort the table according to that information. You can click a table row to see fields for editing values.

To add an effective-dated map OR condition, click Add Map Definition Details.
Note: You must add at least one effective-dated map definition section to a map.
To store the effective-dated condition in the table, on the Map Definition action bar, click Save.
Repeat steps 4-7 to add or edit an additional effective-dated condition.
