How to Void Detail Information on a Claim Exception Code

You can void certain detail information for a claim exception code. Once the information has been voided, it is not used during claims processing.

You can void the following detail information:

• Main tab information:
  • Drug Level Message
  • Claim Routing
  • RA Text Override
• Disposition information
• Resolution Text
• Response Text

Optionally, you can:

• Delete the entire claim exception code.
• Delete detail information from the claim exception code. Delete drug-level messaging, claim routing, RA text override, or disposition key detail information.

• Replicate a claim exception. Copy a claim exception within the same line of business.

• Copy a claim exception. Copy a claim exception to another line of business.

• View or add notes. To view or add notes for this record, on the action bar, click Notes.

• View audit details. To retrieve audit information, close any open panels and, on the action bar, click Audit Log. To view the details for a particular record, click Audit.

• Reset your entries. To clear the fields and remain on the page or panel, click Reset.
• Cancel your entries. To close the page or panel without saving your changes, click Cancel.

To void detail information on a claim exception code

1. On the Rules Mgmt menu, click Claim Exception.
2. Search for the claim exception that contains the disposition you want to delete.
3. Optionally, to void drug-level messaging, claim routing, RA text override, or disposition information, do one of the following:
   1. On the Claim Exception page, click the appropriate tab.
   2. Click the row in the table containing the detail information to be voided.
   3. In the panel, in the Void field, click Yes.
   4. To store the information in the table, on the panel action bar, click Save.
4. Optionally, to void resolution or response text, do the following:
   1. On the Claim Exception page, click the appropriate tab.
   2. In the Void field, click Yes.
5. On the Claim Exception action bar, click Save.
