How to Delete Detail Information from a Claim Exception Code

You can delete certain detail information from a claim exception code. You can also void some detail information.

To delete detail information from a claim exception code

  1. On the Rules Mgmt menu, click Claim Exception.
  2. Search for the claim exception that contains the disposition you want to delete.
  3. On the Claim Exception page, click the appropriate tab.
  4. Click the row in the table containing the detail information to be deleted.

    Warning icon Make sure you are deleting the correct information because once the information has been saved, it cannot be changed.

  5. To remove the information from the table, on the panel action bar, click Delete.
  6. On the Claim Exception action bar, click Save.
