How to Delete Recipient Liability/Responsibility

You can delete a recipient liability/responsibility span for a member if the date of the span is in the future and there are no members associated with the span.

You can also delete a member associated with a recipient liability/responsibility span if the beginning date of that association is in the future.

You can delete a Special Payments for the Elderly and Disabled (SPED) recipient information span if the beginning date of that span is in the future.

Optionally, you can:

To delete recipient liability/responsibility information

  1. On the Member menu, point to Member Maintenance, and then click Recipient Liability/Responsibility.

    Tip: If you are already accessing a member's information on any Member page, you can use the Member Detail Links/Member Maintenance Links to navigate to the desired information without having to search again.

  2. Search for the member.
  3. To delete a recipient liability/responsibility span, a member associated with a span, or SPED recipient information for a span, on the Recipient Liability/Responsibility Maintenance page, in the Recipient Liability/Responsibility table, click the appropriate row.
  4. ClosedOptionally, to delete a member associated with the selected liability/responsibility span, in the Liability/Responsibility Member Information panel, do the following:

    1. In the Liability/Responsibility Member Information table, click the appropriate row.
    2. On the Liability/Responsibility Member Information action bar, click Delete.
  5. ClosedOptionally, to delete a Special Payments for the Elderly and Disabled (SPED) recipient information associated with the selected liability/responsibility span, in the SPED Recipient Responsibility Information panel,do the following.

    1. In the SPED Recipient Responsibility Information table, click the appropriate row.
    2. On the SPED Recipient Responsibility Information action bar, click Delete.
  6. ClosedOptionally, to delete the future-dated recipient liability/responsibility span, do the following:
    1. In the Liability/Responsibility Member Information panel, make sure that all associations have been deleted.
    2. On the Recipient Liability/Responsibility action bar, click Delete.
  7. Optionally, if you have added any notes to this record, on the page’s action bar, click Save.
