You can transfer one or many case records or correspondence records (CRs) to another work unit without opening individual case records or CRs.
Before reassigning a case, you must search for the case record. From the search results, you can reassign each record to a work unit, or reassign all records listed to the same work unit using the Reassign All Cases To field. When you view the case record, a reassignment is displayed in the Reassign To field of the case.
The Reassign feature has the same effect as using the Route feature on open case records. Both allow you to transfer the case to another work unit.
Before reassigning correspondence, you must search for the record. From the search results, you can reassign each record to a work unit or reassign all records listed to the same work unit using the Reassign All Correspondences To field. When you view a CR, a reassignment is displayed in the Reassign To field.
The Reassign feature has the same effect as using the Route feature on an opened CR. Both allow you to transfer the CR to another work unit.
