Reassign Case Page

You use the Reassign Case page to search for and reassign case records. You can then reassign case records to an individual or a work unit.

The Reassign Case page contains the following panels:

You can open or close certain panels. Click (the plus sign) beside a panel to open the panel. Click (the minus sign) to close the panel.

 

Search For Case Fields

Field Description
Entity ID

An entity's unique identifier.

Examples: SSN or MID

Assigned To The user to whom the correspondence or case record is currently assigned.
Status Status of case record.
Created By User who initially created a correspondence or case record.
Entity Type

The type of organization, institution, or individual.

Examples: Provider, Member, Attorney, TPL Carrier

Case Record Number

ND MMIS generated number assigned when a case record is initially created. It cannot be modified.

Status Date The date the case record changed status. This date is system generated.
Priority The level of importance of the case record, for example, Urgent, High, Medium, etc.
Case Title The title of the case record.
Advanced Search Option Fields
Reporting Unit

The reporting unit of the user who is currently assigned the case record (the Assigned To user).

Examples: State, Medical Services

Created From The earliest date the case record could have been created.
Created By User who initially created a CR or case.
Line of Business Group Entity with financial responsibility for payment of insurance claims on behalf of members
Business Unit

The business unit of the user who is currently assigned the case record.

Example: Level of Care Determination

Created To The latest date the case record could have been created.
Case Type

Indicates what a case is about.

Examples: Provider Appeal, Level of Care Determination

Response Exists

Indicates if the search includes only records that have or do not have existing responses/letters.

Work Unit

The type of work unit.

Examples: Call Center, Support Staff

 

Search Results

Field Description
Reassign All Cases To

Work units to which you can reassign all listed case records.

Note: All case records in the search results table are reassigned to the selected work unit.

Created

Date the case record was created. This date is automatically assigned by ND MMIS when the user initially saves the case record.

Format: MM/DD/YYYY

Entity Name The name of the entity for which the case record was created.
Entity Type

The type of organization, institution, or individual.

Examples: Provider, Member, Attorney, TPL Carrier

Status

The stage of the case. The status changes depending on the case type and where it is in the resolution process.

Assigned To The user to whom the case record is currently assigned.
Case Type

Indicates what a case is about.

Examples: Provider Appeal, Level of Care Determination

Priority

The level of importance of the inquiry or request.

Examples: High, Medium, or Low

Reassign To Work unit to which the case record is to be reassigned.
