What Is My Tasks?

The My Tasks panel can be described as your inbox to use when you can perform the following tasks:

Note: You use the Internal Team Messages panel as your inbox for messages.

My Tasks

All information displayed in My Tasks is based on your current assignment and security permissions. Once an alert, CR, or case record is closed, it is automatically removed from your inbox.

The following tabs are displayed in the My Tasks panel:

Alerts

Alerts are notifications or reminders. The Alerts tab displays alerts that remind you to update a CR or case record you are assigned. It may also provide alerts for third-party liability recovery cases, service authorization cases, and medical service questionnaires if your group or work unit handles these type of cases. Once the alert is selected, the Alerts Details panel displays details about the case the alert is related to and provides a link to the record associated with the alert. Therefore, you have the ability to update the associated record from the Alerts tab. You also have the capability to open the letter generation request when a CR or case record alert is related to a letter request.

The Alert Dates pod on the left of the My Tasks panel displays a summary of alerts that are due.

Note: You will not receive an alert for a CR or case record that you do not have access to.

My CRs

My CRs displays all the CRs that are assigned to you. When you claim a CR from the Group CRs tab, it is automatically removed from the Group CRs tab and displayed on the My CRs tab. The CR Details panel displays details about the CR and provides a link to open it. A CR in closed status is automatically removed from the My CRs tab. During a CR review, if an attachment is made, Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) is updated with an index to link the CR to the document that was attached.

Group CRs

Group CRs displays CRs that are assigned to the group or work unit to which you belong. Some of the CRs displayed on this tab are created automatically when a provider submits an inquiry via the North Dakota MMIS Web Portal. The CR Details panel displays details about the CR selected in the table. When you claim a CR from the Group CRs tab, it is automatically removed from the Group CR list and added to the My CRs tab.

CRs Watchlist

CRs Watchlist displays CRs that are routed to another user or work unit. You can monitor CRs in the watchlist until they are resolved (closed), at which point they automatically drop off the watchlist. All CRs manually routed to your watchlist from the Routing tab of the Log Correspondence page are also displayed. The CR Details panel displays details about the CR selected in the table and provides a link to open it.

My Case Records

My Case Records displays all the case records that are assigned to you. When you claim a case record from the Group Case Records tab, it is automatically removed from the Group Case Records tab and displayed on the My Case Records tab. The Case Details panel displays details about the case and provides a link to open it. A closed case record is automatically removed from the My Case Records tab. During a case review, if an attachment is made, the EDMS is updated with an index to link the case record to the document that was attached.

Group Case Records

Group Case Records displays case records that are assigned to the group or work unit to which you belong. When you claim a case record from the Group Case Records tab, it is automatically removed from the Group Case Record list and added to the My Case Records tab. The Case Details panel displays details about the case selected in the table.

Case Records Watchlist

Case Records Watchlist displays case records that are routed to another user or work unit. You can monitor case records in the watchlist until they are resolved (closed), at which point they automatically drop off the watchlist. All the case records manually routed to your watchlist from the Routing tab of the Log Case page are also displayed. The Case Details panel displays details about the case and provides a link to open it.
