What Is Claim Entry?

You use the Claim Entry page to enter claims into ND MMIS manually. Before you can enter a claim, a batch control record must be established. You can enter various types of claims including professional, dental, or institutional.

The batch type (professional, dental, or institutional) and the number of claims that can be entered into a batch are defined when the batch control record is created.

You can also void or replace claims that have a status of Paid, To-Be-Paid, Denied, or To-Be-Denied.
