About Claims

Enrolled providers submit claims to ND MMIS for payment for services rendered to Medicaid members. Once received by the ND MMIS, the claims processing function edits, prices, audits, and processes claims to final disposition according to the policies and procedures established by the Department of Human Services (DHS).

You use the Claims area to perform tasks related to claims processing in ND MMIS. Tasks you can perform include entering claims using Claim Entry, correcting claims that are suspended in Claims Correction, or viewing claim information in Claim Inquiry. The following overview topics provide you with information about each area of Claims.
