How to Enter a Void or Replacement Claim
You use the Void or Replace Claims page to enter void or replacement claims into ND MMIS. You cannot replace a claim that has an financial control number (FCN) indicating that a refund has been applied.
Optionally, you can:
To enter a void or replace claim
- On the Claims menu, click Entry.
- Search for the batch record associated with the void or replacement claim you are entering.
- Enter the information from the void/replace request form into the Void or Replace Claims page.
- In the Claim Exceptions panel, click Validate.
- Do one of the following:
- If errors are found, resolve the exceptions
- To save the request to complete later, on the Void or Replace Claims action bar, click Save.
- If no errors are found, continue to the next step.
- Do one of the following:
- For void claims, a blank Void or Replace claims page is displayed for entry.
- For replacement claims, on the Claim Correction page that is displayed with all information populated from the replaced claim, the new TCN, the replaced TCN, and the replacement reason, do the following:
- Complete any corrections needed to the replacement claim.
- On the Claim Correction main action bar, click Save.
