How to Delete or Void an Existing Budget

Once a budget has been entered at the beginning of the State's biennium fiscal period, it can be deleted or voided only if there are no claims associated with the budget.

You can also delete or void a fund code or funding source from the budget.

To delete or void a budget

1. On the Financial menu, click Budget Inquiry.
2. Search for the budget you want to edit.
3. On the Budget Data page, do one of the following:
   • To delete an existing budget, on the Budget Data action bar, click Delete.
   • To void an existing budget, in the Void field, click Yes, and on the Budget Data action bar, click Save.
