How to Delete a Diagnosis Code

You can delete a diagnosis code and all the spans associated with it.

Optionally, you can:

• Delete a codes and indicators span or a former codes span from a diagnosis code.
• View or add notes. To view or add notes for this record, on the action bar, click Notes.
• View audit details. To retrieve audit information, close any open panels and, on the action bar, click Audit Log. To view the details for a particular record, click Audit.
• Cancel your entries. To close the page or panel without saving your changes, click Cancel.

To delete a diagnosis code

1. On the Rules Mgmt menu, point to Code Maintenance, and then click Diagnosis.
2. Search for the diagnosis code that you want to delete.
3. On the Diagnosis Code page, on the Diagnosis Code action bar, click Delete Diagnosis Code.
