How to View and Delete Locked Claims

You use the Claim Locking page to view claim records that are locked in ND MMIS. If you have the proper permission, you are able to delete the locks on a claim record. Before doing so, please make sure that the user identified as having the record locked is not updating the record.

Optionally you can:

To view locked claims and delete the lock on a claim

  1. On the Claims menu, point to Adjudication, and then click Locking.
  2. On the Claims Locking page, review the locked claim records.

    Tip: Click a column heading to sort the table according to the data in that column.

  3. Optionally, to limit the records displayed in the table, in the Search Filters panel, complete the fields, and then click Search.
  4. To delete one or more locked records.

    1. In the Search Results panel, select the applicable Delete check boxes.

      Warning Icon Make sure you are not deleting a locked claim that currently is being worked.

    2. On the Claims Locking action bar, click Delete.
