How to Delete a Medical Limit Parameter

You can delete a medical limit parameter if the beginning date is in the future and it is not associated with medical criteria. If you attempt to delete a medical limit parameter that is associated with medical criteria, ND MMIS displays a message indicating that the item cannot be deleted because it is in use. In this case, you must delete the parameter from its associated medical criteria before deleting the parameter number itself. If the beginning date of the medical limit parameter is in the past, you can void the parameter on its associated medical criteria.

Optionally, you can:

• View or add notes. To view or add notes for this record, on the action bar, click Notes.
• View audit details. To retrieve audit information, close any open panels and, on the action bar, click Audit Log. To view the details for a particular record, click Audit.
• Cancel your entries. To close the page or panel without saving your changes, click Cancel.

To delete a medical limit parameter

1. On the Rules Mgmt menu, point to Utilization Review, and then click Medical Parameter.

2. Search for the medical limit parameter you want to delete.

3. On the UR Medical Limit Parameter Number action bar, click Delete UR Medical Limit Parameter Number.
