You can delete a medical limit parameter if the beginning date is in the future and it is not associated with medical criteria. If you attempt to delete a medical limit parameter that is associated with medical criteria, ND MMIS displays a message indicating that the item cannot be deleted because it is in use. In this case, you must delete the parameter from its associated medical criteria before deleting the parameter number itself. If the beginning date of the medical limit parameter is in the past, you can void the parameter on its associated medical criteria.

On the Rules Mgmt menu, point to Utilization Review, and then click Medical Parameter.
Search for the medical limit parameter you want to delete.
