The member's middle initial. |
Suffix |
The member's suffix name. Examples: Jr., Sr. |
Omit from Archive | Indicates to omit the member's information from being archived. |
Stop MSQs | Indicates to stop automatically sending Medical Service Questionnaires (MSQs) to the member. |
VIP | Indicates whether the member has a Very Important Person (VIP) status or not. |
Correspondence Medium | The preferred method of contacting this member. |
Gender |
The gender of a person, usually male or female. In some cases, the gender may also be unknown. |
Date of Birth |
The member's date of birth. This field cannot be a future date. Format: MM/DD/YYYY |
Social Security Number |
A nine-digit number assigned by the Federal government, usually assigned at the time of birth and used for tax purposes. Format: NNN-NN-NNNN or NNNNNNNNN Example: 123-45-6789 Note: This field cannot contain all zeros. |
Primary Language |
The member's primary spoken language. Examples: EN-English, FR-French |
Marital Status |
The member's legal marital status. Examples: M-Married, D-Divorced |
Citizenship Status |
The member's status of citizenship. Examples: B-Birth, N-Naturalized |
Ethnic Code |
The member's ethnicity code. |
Race |
The member's race. There are six checkboxes, each representing a specific race code. Multiple boxes may be selected for the races that apply to the member. Examples: White, Asian |
Date of Death | The member's date of death. |
Email Address | The member's e-mail address. |

End Date | The date when the confidentiality span ended. If this date is 12/31/9999, then the confidentiality code is current. |

The confidentiality code for the member. Example: GCS- Good Cause |
Last Update Date |
The last date the information was updated. This date is automatically displayed by the system. |

LOB |
The descriptive name of the line of business. |
Case Number |
The unique (within a LOB) identifier number created by the external source system or by ND MMIS. It is used to associate all the individual members together into a group who are applying for public assistance. There may be one or more individuals associated together in a case. If a case is required and has not been set up, the number entered here is used as the case number or,for the following COEs, it is automatically generated by ND MMIS with the appropriate prefix:

Member ID |
The member's unique, individual identifier in ND MMIS. ND MMIS captures many different identifiers (known as "alternate IDs") for a member and selects one (known as the Member ID) which is used on all displays, reports, correspondence, etc. Examples: 12345678901 if Member ID type is Medicaid, 123456789 if Member ID type is SSN. |

The type of Alternate ID being used as the Member ID. Examples: Medicaid, SPED, Voc Rehab |
Member ID Src Code | The member's alternate ID Source Code. |
Category of Eligibility |
The member's Category of Eligibility. This field combines the VISION and the Technical Eligibility Computer System (TECS) systems program and sub-program codes to define the category code for the assistance program. Examples: Healthy Steps, Qualified Medicare Beneficiary - Aged, Children With Disabilities |
Begin Date | The member's eligibility begin date. |
End Date | The member's eligibility end date. |
Coverage Group |
The coverage category of the member as it relates to the Category of Eligibility. Examples: Categorically Needy, Medically Needy |
Dual Eligible | Indicates whether the member is eligible for Medicare at the same time as this Category of Eligibility's Begin and End Dates. |
Medicaid Expansion Indicator |
Indicates if member is eligible for the Expanded SCHIP (State Children’s Health Insurance Program). |
Alien Emergency Services Indicator |
Indicates the individual is non-U.S. citizen or national who has not passed the green card test or the substantial presence test and is only entitled to emergency services. |
HS Copay Met Indicator |
Indicates if the member has satisfied the copay for Healthy Steps (ND's SCHIP). |
TANF Indicator |
Indicates if the member is currently receiving benefits as part of the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program. |
Closure Reason | The reason why the eligibility span was closed. |
Cancer Type - For Women's Way Program | The type of cancer associated with the Women's Way COE code. |

The identification number of the member who is considered a suspected duplicate of the new member, if applicable. |
ID Type |
The unique code for the type of member identification number. Examples: Medicaid, SPED, Voc Rehab |
Suspect Dup Reason Code |
Suspected Duplicate Reason Code. This code indicates why the two members are suspected of being duplicates. Examples: Last Name, First Name, Gender and DOB are the same. |
Suspect Dup Transaction Code |
The source of the suspected duplicate transaction. Examples: VISION and the Technical Eligibility Computer System (TECS) systems, User Entered |
