How to Search for a TPL Carrier

You can use the Search Carrier page to find a TPL carrier. You can choose to search using any one of the following types of information:

You can narrow your search even more on some of the tabs by entering additional criteria.

Optionally, you can add a carrier.

To search for a carrier

  1. On the Financial menu, point to Third Party Liability, and then click Carrier.
  2. On the Search TPL Carrier page, click the appropriate tab, depending on the information you have available for your search:
  3. On the selected tab, complete the required field(s), including any additional options to narrow your search.

In some searches, the system displays additional fields depending on the criteria selected.

Example: If options include Name, SSN, or ID and you select Name, the system displays additional name fields to be completed before the search can be started.

  4. Click Search.

If more than one match is found, a results table with matches is displayed. Click the up or down arrow next to a column heading to sort the table in ascending or descending sequence according to that column. Click a row to display that match.

If one match is found, it is displayed instead of the results table.

If no matches are found, a message is displayed with the option to click Reset to clear all fields and enter new search information. If too many matches are found, click Reset and search using additional options.
