How to Edit a Letter Request

As long as the existing letter request's status is New, In Review, or Rejected you can edit the request on the Letter Generation page.

Optionally, you can:

To edit a letter request

  1. Locate the record for which you want to edit the letter request.
  2. On the appropriate function's page, click Letters & Responses.

  3. In the Letters & Responses panel, in the table, click the appropriate row.
  4. If the letter has not been generated, on the Letters & Responses action bar, click View Letter Request.
  5. If needed, on the Letter Generation Request page, in the Letter Details panel, complete the fields.
  6. If you navigated to this page from a function other than Contact Management, to search for letter recipients, in the Search Filters panel, complete the appropriate search filters, depending on the information you have available for your search:

    Note: The fields are the same as those on the Entity Search page.

    Otherwise, continue to the next step.

  7. ClosedTo select other the recipients for the letter, in the Associated Entities panel or, if you navigated her from a function outside of Contact Management, the search results table, complete the fields: 
    1. Click the selection check box for the appropriate entities.
    2. To add the entities to the Letter Recipients table, click Add Letter Recipients.
  8. Optionally, in the Letter Recipients panel, do any of the following:

  9. If needed, in the Other Details panel, complete the fields.
  10. If needed, in the Regarding panel, complete the fields.
