How to View a Claim

You use the Claims Inquiry Claim Detail pages to view claims in ND MMIS. The Claims Inquiry pages are view-only. You cannot update the claim information displayed.

Optionally, you can:

• View or add notes. To view or add notes for this record, on the action bar, click Notes.

• View Paper Documents. To view the image of the claim and any documents associated with the claim, on the main action bar, click View Paper Documents.

To view a claim

1. Search for the claim.

2. On the Dental, Financial, Institutional, or Professional Claim Detail page, review the information.

   Tip: For efficient navigation, you can click the links at the top of the tab to go directly to that section of the tab.

3. Optionally, in the Claim Exceptions panel, view exceptions associated with the claim.

   Tip: If you navigate to another area of ND MMIS by clicking a link, you can use the browser page Back button to return to Claims Inquiry.

4. Do one of the following:

   • To view another claim, in the Search Results table, click the appropriate row.
   • Exit the page.
