About Provider
The Provider function is broken down into the following major areas:
- Providers - Allows you to search for and view a provider record in view-only mode using the Provider Inquiry option. To edit a provider's information, use the Provider Maintenance option. To add or edit a new provider application or add a subpart, use the Provider Application Maintenance option.
- Provider Training Courses - Allows you to create and maintain training courses and sessions for providers who have requested training, or when the State or FAS users need provider training. In addition, a training history can be maintained by authorized users.
- Provider Type Specialty Maintenance - Allows you to create, view, or delete valid combinations of provider types and specialties which are allowed for provider enrollment.
- Trading Partners - Allows you to search for and view a trading partner using the Trading Partner Inquiry option. To edit a Trading Partner's information, use the Trading Partner Maintenance option.
- Provider Appeals Inquiry- Allows you to search and edit appeals and administrative hearings. Authorized users are the only ones who can edit an appeal. Use the Member or Provider menu to access appeals, as appropriate.
- Add Provider Appeals - Allows you to add appeals and administrative hearings. Authorized users are the only ones who can add an appeal. Use the Member or Provider menu to access appeals, as appropriate.
- Member Eligibility Confirmation - the confirmation that a provider received on a member's eligibility request.
