Suspense Release Search Page

You use the Suspense Release search page to search for suspense release requests using the date the suspense release request was entered.

The Suspense Release Search page contains the following panels:

 

Search Criteria Field

Field Description
To add a suspense release request, click Add Suspense Release.
Request Date

The date the suspense release request was entered.

Format: MM/DD/YYYY

 

Search Results Fields

Field Description
If more than one match is found, this table is displayed. To view a match, click the appropriate row. None of these fields can be edited.
Request # A unique number that identifies the request. The number is assigned by the system.
Request Date The date of the request. The date is assigned by the system.
Request Type Indicates if the request is to release a batch of claims or a miscellaneous group of claims.
LOB

The unique code that identifies the line of business, a high-level payer, or funding source such as Medicaid.

Batch Date

The batch creation date consists of the last two digits of the year and the day of the year.

Format: YYDDD

Example: February 1, 2011 is 11032.

Media Source

Indicates how the claim was received.

Examples: Paper, Web

Key Value Includes the Batch Number, Claim type, Procedure Code
User ID The ID number and name of the user generating the suspense release request.
