You use the Claims Inquiry Search TCN tab to search for claims using the TCN or batch control information.
The TCN tab of the Claims Inquiry Search page contains the following panels:
Fields | Description |

TCN |
The transaction control number (TCN) is a unique number assigned by the ND MMIS to each claim. |
Batch Number |
The number assigned to the batch. The number uniquely identifies each batch of claim documents compiled on a given day. Format: NNNN Example: 9123 |
Julian Date |
The batch creation date consists of the last two digits of the year and the day of the year. Format: YYDDD Example: February 1, 2011 is 11032. |
Media Source |
Indicates how the claim was received. Examples: Paper, Web |
If more than one record is found, a table with matching records is displayed.
