How to Search for Information

You can find public content or documents on North Dakota MMIS Web Portal by using Search on the global links.

Note: You are not allowed to access or see anyone else's personal information.

To search

  1. On the global links of any page, click Search.

    The Search Center page is displayed in a separate browser.

  2. On the Search Center page, to select a search area, click (the search area icon).
  3. Enter your search word or phrase.
  4. Click (the submit icon).

    A list of document titles or content by relevance is displayed with the ones that contain the most number of matches to the word or phrase you entered at the top.

  5. To view a document, click the document title.

    Tip: Some documents are in PDF format. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed to view the documents.

  6. To close a document, in the rightmost corner of the document window, click X.
  7. To close the browser, click X.
