How to View a Benefit Plan

You may need to view a benefit plan for any number of reasons, for example, to research a problem with a claim or to answer a question from a member or provider.

Unless you have security to edit a plan, you can only view benefit plan details. If you have edit permissions, unprotected fields can be changed and additional information can be added.

To view a benefit plan

  1. On the Benefits menu, click Benefit Plan Navigator.
  2. To see its benefit plans, in the Navigator panel, click (the plus sign) beside the line of business.
  3. In the Navigator panel, click the appropriate plan ID.

    The main Plan Navigator page for a benefit plan is displayed. For field descriptions, see the topics on Plan Navigator pages.

  4. Review the information for the benefit plan.
  5. Click another component of this benefit plan in the Navigator panel.
